My name is Dave and I have been an experienced bike rider for over 30 years. My favorite/longest ride or race has been when I rode from coast to coast with my son, Doug. I can not ride without my cream filled long john in the morning. In the past, I have been involved with Bridge of Hope, Habitat for Humanity, Samaritan’s Purse, Shining Light and The Factory Ministries. Two years ago, I rode in the Nashville ride with the Together Initiative to help with efforts to alleviate poverty. Being involved with The Together Initiative, I like the vision of assisting people to help themselves instead of just giving out “handouts” to people. The Together Initiative gives assess to resources that under-resourced people do not have access to. I look forward to riding again with The Together Initiative’s ride to Orlando.
