My name is Nate and I have been a teacher at the Pequea Valley School District for the last 14 years. I am the father of one daughter and enjoy most all outdoor activities. I have been riding bike for 16 years with 1 year on a road bike. Although I am new to road riding, I have really enjoyed exploring the country roads of Lancaster County. It has been a great place to ride. I have been involved with the efforts to alleviate poverty since I was a child. My family and I would work through the Habitat for Humanity organization. I hope that thorough the Together Initiative, these efforts will help families and individuals in the Pequea Valley Community to be able to have access to the resources they need. Being a teacher, I hope that this will lead to students who have the resources they need to be the best learner they can be. And through the Together Initiative, supply their families with the resources to be able to take care of their family’s needs as they arise. I participated in the ride to Cincy last year and look forward to riding to Orlando this year to raise funds for the Together Initiative.
