Kevin’s Bike Ride to Orlando Kevin Hackett

My name is Kevin and I have been an experienced bike rider since the early 2000’s. I ride a 1994 Specialized Allez (Vintage) bike and my favorite longest race was the Ironman 2007, Lake Placid (112 miles) and my favorite ride is the Long Beach Island Loop (NJ). I am married to my wife, Catherine, and we have 4 amazing children: Clair, Ethan, Amelia and Lincoln. I love being with them outdoors, in the woods on a trail or on the open road on the bike. I have been involved in the efforts to alleviate poverty since last fall (2015) as a participant of the Together Initiative ride to Cincinnati to attend the aha! Process conference. My vision for how the efforts of the Together Initiative will make life better for others and enrich the community is by connecting best practices and research-driven approaches with the gospel of Jesus Christ. I believe we can empower and equip individuals to take ownership of their life that will lead to sustainable solutions to poverty. I look forward to riding with the Ride to Orlando with The Together Initiative this year to help raise funds and awareness.
