SAIL is increasing the quality of home-based child care by providing early learning resources, materials and mentoring directly to home-cased child care providers across the County. Early literacy is enhanced by the mobile resource and activity van, the Be READy Rover, staffed with a children’s librarian; proper nutrition is reinforced through the provision of healthy meals and snacks; and social-emotional development is supported through evidence-based training and curriculum.
